was clear with directing us, very efficient in getting a lot of shots and helped keep the day light-hearted and fun despite a busy schedule for us. As a bride, she made my husband and I feel so comfortable during both our engagement shoot and our wedding day, and we are thrilled with our photos. (She got them back to us quicker than promised!) She made sure to get all the shots we requested, and did so in the rain. It absolutely poured our wedding day, and Jess slightly adjusted the locations of our outdoor shots and our timeline to get a few bride & groom portraits before the rain rolled in, and then she coordinated with the photographer of the other wedding at our venue to get all of our wedding party shots in there too as both weddings were trying to use the only covered space. Her second shooter - Adara- even drove in the rain to a separate location to get a couple of pictures of us outside of where we first met. Prior to our wedding day, Jess also helped us greatly with the timeline of our day in our planning meeting, and promptly responded to my emails with timeline questions throughout the wedding planning process. I can not recommend Jess and her team enough!

Many of our friends and family said these were the best wedding photos they've ever seen. When we met her for the first time in person, it immediately felt like we were friends! It was literally a heat advisory with harsh sunlight at times, yet she still knew the best locations to take us and the most flattering poses. Seeing the gallery, you would never believe it was a hot day! The colors were so vibrant and flattering, and we somehow simultaneously looked like super models, yet authentically us! Jessica has a natural ability of capturing a couple's "vibe," while still providing ample guidance and instruction. She was such a champ, walking with us in the heat all around the gardens and listening to our vision. She made the day so special and now we have these lasting memories. Sincerely can't recommend her enough. We definitely hope to book with her again for other occasions!!

bout how wonderful she was. I get it. I've been raving about her since my wedding day. She made the process so simple for us. She made us feel so relaxed in front of the camera. She made it feel so natural, and SO MUCH FUN. My husband even had a blast at our engagement session and in front of the camera on our wedding day. We were laughing all day long. I didn't have a wedding coordinator and felt like I was a bit unorganized, especially as I was also chasing around my 5 month old baby. I began to stress. Every little issue I had, Jess and Andrea were there to solve it and make my day run smoothly. They got us organized and kept us on track from start to finish. My necklace was in a knot, Jess was there to fix it. My hair kept falling all day and they were there to fix it and place it back every time. I didn't have bobby pins to pin my veil up, but guess who did... Jess! I realized right before photos that my bouquet just had a rubber band around it that wasn't super pretty, Jess whips out a case of ribbon and asked what color I wanted to wrap around it. My jaw dropped. This girl was prepared for ANYTHING. My dress was very complicated to try to bustle, but who helped my mom get it done? My girl Jess. Literally any issue I had, she was there to save the day. I felt so much more relaxed knowing that she had my back all day long. Not to mention, she is just the sweetest person. Always happy to help. You can tell she is passionate and enjoys what she does. Now the photos.... HOLY COW. She took the most breathtaking photos I've ever seen. Every single person looked amazing and was ecstatic with the photos. I am so not photogenic, but you wouldn't know it because she made me look flawless. I got so many compliments on our photos and everyone kept saying they looked like the cover of a magazine. Or that we looked like movie stars. She even captured so many great photos of our baby who likes to squirm and obviously not cooperate. This girl does it all. Weddings are expensive in general, but if there's one thing that was worth every penny, it was hiring Jess and Andrea to capture our special day. I will forever use her for any photos I need done in the future. She is your girl. Trust me.

Every little thing we threw her way (photograph 7 toddlers, avoid photographing this pesky anxiety rash, navigate unique family dynamics, etc.) was met with a simple, "no problem," and most importantly, we believed her. We trusted Jessica's opinion and expertise so much we told our coordinator that when we weren't around, Jessica got to call the shots for floral set up, decor, etc. She has a great eye and understands her clients' visions perfectly. One of JL's best qualities is that she makes everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. She tells you exactly what you need to do while also being your number #1 hype girl in the process. It's hard to not have a good time and feel confident when you're in a JL shoot. Perhaps most importantly, Jessica's photography aesthetic has a natural warmth to it that perfectly captures the way you feel on your wedding day. This was ultimately the selling point for us when choosing amongst a very competitive photographer market (we talked to over a dozen photographers!!). Simply put - Jessica Lauren is a rare talent that makes me believe angels walk among us everyday. We will be back for family portraits!

The next day I received an email back from Jess, and she was absolutely shocked and delightedly I emailed her the day I got engaged. Thankfully, our venue had our wedding date available the same day as Jess and it couldn’t have worked out more perfectly. Jessica is the ultimate hype woman! She is professional, responsive, trustworthy, honest and incredibly kind. I am Type A person/bride, so I was excited when we received sneak peaks photos less than 24 hours after we got married! She was 100000% worth investment and a joy to work with.

She also provides sneak peak photos within less than 24 hours of the event, which was both surprising and exciting for us to get to relive our engagement photos and wedding day right after. Before I went home that night, I already had 20(!) sneak peeks on my phone from the day. I couldn't believe it! And just a little over a week later, I had my whole BEAUTIFUL wedding gallery in my inbox, ready to download. Obviously it was not in her job description but Jessica cares so well for her clients and she is always willing to go above and beyond. She made all of our friends and family feel incredibly confident in front of the camera with her words of encouragement and gentle suggestions to change a pose. My husband was initially nervous about all the picture taking but truly had so much fun during our engagement and wedding sessions because of how fun Jessica makes the experience. As a Type A bride, I was thrilled with how organized and efficient she was in everything she did. We received all of engagement and wedding photos in such a timely manner and they were all so beautiful. She sent us a magazine she created herself filled with so many engagement and wedding planning tips, and later on in the process we filled out a Google survey she sent us to make sure she could have as much info as possible about our day.
